Graphic Stripes

Nautical stripes are always big for summer, and the 2010 collections show some new, some retro takes on the traditional stripe. Marc Jacobs pairs stripe with a large placed floral, and Vena Cava has a contemporary navajo take. Donna Karan drapes the standard black and white stripe in a feminine but modern way. Chanel pairs different nautical stripes together to create a look that is both contemporary and glamorous. Stripes turn into a 20s inspired geometric, second from right. This wallpaper look seems to tie in with Prada's art Resort 10 prints as well.
